Use
This test uses fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to detect amplification of ERBB2 (HER2) relative to chromosome 17 centromere (CEN17) in breast cancer tissue, aiding in determining eligibility for HER2-targeted therapies and informing prognostic assessments.
Special Instructions
For global cases, a copy of the pathology report is required. Tech-only processing requires sending a circled H&E slide and 4 unstained slides at 4–5 µm. For New York State clients, please provide date and time of specimen collection. HER2 IHC report copy is required for global FISH cases.
