HER2 (Other) FISH
Use
The HER2 (Other) FISH test determines HER2 (ERBB2) gene amplification status to help guide anti‑HER2 targeted therapy decisions in various tumor types, including endometrial cancer, salivary duct carcinoma, ovarian cancer, serous carcinomas, and other solid tumors.
Special Instructions
For global cases, a copy of the HER2 IHC pathology report is required (if not available via NeoLINK). For HER2 (Other) with Breast Scoring, the HER2 IHC slide may also be required. Client Services will contact your office for missing IHC documents or slides. Paraffin block submissions require an H&E slide; tech‑only submissions should circle the H&E slide. For cut slides, submit an H&E slide plus two unstained 4‑micron slides; circle H&E for tech‑only. NYS clients must provide date and time of collection.
