RB (Retinoblastoma Protein)
Use
Retinoblastoma (RB) protein is a tumor suppressor that negatively regulates the cell cycle by interacting with transcription factors such as E2F1, PU1, ATF2, UBF, Elf1, and cAbl. Loss of RB function can result in uncontrolled cell growth, and aberrations in the RB gene are implicated in cancers including breast, colon, prostate, kidney, nasopharynx, and leukemia.
