Used to detect structural rearrangements involving the ROS1 gene in non‑small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) via fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Identifying ROS1 rearrangements can inform eligibility for ROS1‑targeted therapies in NSCLC patients.
Special Instructions
Available globally with an option for ‘Tech Only’ service. Specimen submission requires an H&E slide plus either a paraffin block or two unstained slides cut at 4 µm; circle the H&E slide indication for tech‑only testing. Transport with a cold pack that must not contact specimens directly; New York State clients should also provide the date and time of collection.
