Toxoplasma
Use
This immunohistochemistry (IHC) antibody test is used to identify Toxoplasma organisms—crescent‑shaped sporozoans that are intracellular parasites—in formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissue specimens. It aids in the detection of Toxoplasma in tissue samples, providing visual confirmation via staining of suspected infected cells.
Special Instructions
Level of Service options include Global and Tech‑Only (stain only). The test is New York State approved. For Tech‑Only service, storage/transportation requires use of a cold pack not in direct contact with specimens; NYS clients must provide date and time of collection.
