Allergen Mountain Cedar, IgE
Also known as: ImmunoCAP®
Use
This test quantifies an individual’s IgE response to mountain juniper (Mountain Cedar). It is an in vitro quantitative assay intended to assist in the diagnosis of allergic diseases when considered alongside other clinical findings. Allergen‑specific serum IgE testing can be preferred over skin testing in scenarios such as widespread skin disease, recent antihistamine use, uncooperative patients, or when skin testing could pose a risk of severe reaction; however, definitive diagnosis should always be based on a trained healthcare professional’s evaluation of all clinical and laboratory data.

Limitations
