Angioedema Panel, Hereditary, Comprehensive
Also known as: C1 Esterase Inhibitor Profile
Use
This panel is designed to assist in the diagnosis of hereditary angioedema (HAE) by measuring key complement factors including C1 esterase inhibitor functional activity, C1 esterase inhibitor protein level, and complement component C4c. It facilitates differentiation of HAE subtypes and supports clinical evaluation in patients with recurrent angioedema episodes without urticaria, enabling more accurate diagnosis and management.
