This test is used for urine-based drug monitoring to screen for commonly abused substances and to perform specimen validity testing. It is appropriate in contexts such as clinical monitoring, workplace drug testing, or prescription drug compliance assessment. It provides initial screening results to help detect amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolite, marijuana metabolite, methadone metabolite, opiates, oxycodone, and also assesses specimen integrity via creatinine, pH, and oxidant measurements.
