LRP4 Autoantibody Test
Use
Detects anti‑LRP4 (low density lipoprotein receptor‑related protein 4) in the sera of patients with Myasthenia Gravis (MG). LRP4 activates MuSK kinase activity and promotes acetylcholine receptor clustering and stabilization at the neuromuscular junction; anti‑LRP4 antibodies are found in approx. 9.2% (range 2%–50%) of MG patients who are negative for both anti‑AChR and anti‑MuSK. Quest offers this as a standalone orderable test. ([intellitestmanager.questdiagnostics.com](https://intellitestmanager.questdiagnostics.com/home/output/206877?utm_source=openai))
