Use
This test is used to measure the level of Vanillylmandelic Acid (VMA) in a 24-hour urine sample. VMA is a metabolite of catecholamines, and elevated levels may indicate pheochromocytoma, neuroblastoma, and other neuroendocrine tumors.
Special Instructions
Ensure complete urine collection over a 24-hour period. Acid is added to the collection container as a preservative.
