Limitations
Concentrations of allergen-specific IgE may not correlate with the degree of clinical response or skin testing results. A negative test does not rule out an allergy or anaphylaxis, and results must be interpreted alongside clinical history and in vivo reactivity. The clinical relevance of results between 0.10-0.34 kU/L is undetermined and intended for specialist use.
