Use

The Allergen, Fungi and Molds, Aureobasidium pullulans IgG test is used to detect specific IgG antibodies to the mold Aureobasidium pullulans. This mold is commonly associated with allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, and measuring the level of IgG antibodies helps in assessing exposure and immune response to this allergen. The test is particularly relevant for individuals presenting with symptoms related to mold exposure or those undergoing allergy evaluations.

Special Instructions

Please ensure collection of specimen in a Serum Separator Tube (SST). Serum must be separated from cells and transferred to an ARUP standard transport tube as soon as possible, ideally within 2 hours of collection.
