Aripiprazole (Abilify®) is an atypical antipsychotic and antidepressant used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and clinical depression. The analysis of aripiprazole is used to monitor compliance with drug therapy. Steady state plasma levels following daily regimens are provided to support therapeutic monitoring (e.g., 5 mg: 70–126 ng/mL; 10 mg: 109–216 ng/mL; etc.).
