Use

It is intended for extragenital (rectal) screening in individuals with suspected exposure or symptoms, based on CDC recommendations for testing sites directed by sexual history or symptoms. Specimen requirement includes rectal swab collected in APTIMA® Transport Tube; the test was reactivated effective November 22, 2021 and later performed in-house from June 6, 2022. Limitations
