Use
The Elution & Antibody Identification test is designed to determine the specificity of antibodies that coat the red blood cells (RBCs) in vivo. Special Instructions
This test includes the resolution of a Positive Direct Antiglobulin Test (DAT). It is performed from Monday to Friday and requires careful attention to specimen collection and transportation requirements, as specified in the provided instructions.
Limitations
The Elution & Antibody Identification test may have limitations related to the detection of weakly reactive or low-affinity antibodies. Antibodies that do not strongly bind to the RBCs or are present in low concentrations may not be identified accurately. The test is also subject to interference from certain medications or conditions that affect antibody binding.
