Use
InSure® ONE is a fecal immunochemical test (FIT) that qualitatively detects human hemoglobin from blood in fecal samples to aid in detection of lower gastrointestinal bleeding, including that which may be caused by colorectal cancer, large adenomas, polyps, diverticulitis, or ulcerative colitis. Special Instructions
The test uses a patient-friendly water-based collection method with patented brush sampling; patients collect two samples from a single bowel movement and apply them to a test card. Patient Preparation
No special diet or avoidance of drugs or supplements required.
Causes for Rejection
Stool submitted in any container; InSure FOBT cards with stool applied to the sample windows; any test card with obvious blood present; submitted refrigerated or frozen.
