Use
Measures blood levels of coenzyme Q10, a vital antioxidant involved in cellular energy production. CoQ10 supports heart and muscle function, and may help assess deficiency related to aging, medication use (e.g., statins), fatigue, or oxidative stress and guide dietary supplementation or therapeutic interventions.
Special Instructions
Fasting is not required. Patients should not take Coenzyme Q10 supplements the morning of the test. This test may be ordered as part of an antioxidants micronutrient panel but is also available separately.
