Use
The P40 by Immunohistochemistry test is used for the detection of the P40 protein, which is a marker useful in certain clinical and pathological evaluations. Formalin fix (10 percent neutral buffered formalin) and paraffin embed specimen. Transport tissue block or 5 unstained (3- to 5-micron thick sections), positively charged slides.

Causes for Rejection
Specimens submitted with non-representative tissue type. Depleted specimens.
