Collection Instructions
Allow specimen to sit in collection tube for 15-20 minutes at room temperature for proper clot formation. Centrifuge and separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube.

Patient should be fasting for 10 hours prior to collection of specimen.
