Sexually-Transmitted Infections (STIs) Increased Risk Panel
Also known as: Trichomoniasis, Vaginitis, CT/GC APTIMA®, Urine Trichomonas, CT/NG APTIMA®
Use
This panel is designed to detect multiple sexually transmitted pathogens associated with increased risk of infection (Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma genitalium). It supports comprehensive screening in patients with elevated risk or symptoms, using a single urogenital–site specimen to identify asymptomatic or symptomatic STIs using highly sensitive nucleic acid amplification technology.
