The Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Panel by FISH, Pediatric is recommended for evaluating children with newly diagnosed ALL. It aids in identifying specific genetic abnormalities associated with ALL, which can help in prognostic assessment and guiding treatment decisions.
Special Instructions
A processing fee applies if this procedure is canceled after setup or if specimen integrity is inadequate for culture growth. The Oncology test request form #43099 or ARUP interface is required for order. Additional charges apply if chromosome analysis isn't performed on the same sample at ARUP.
Limitations
The test is not FDA-cleared or approved. It is intended for clinical purposes, and performance characteristics are determined by the lab. Compromises in culturing and reporting may occur if clinical indication or reason for testing is not provided with the test order.
