Use
Immunohistochemistry stain for Ewing Sarcoma (O13) provides diagnostic support for suspected Ewing family tumors. It is intended to complement morphological evaluation and is performed as a stain-and-return (technical) service only.
Special Instructions
Order using ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Form (#32978) or submit electronically. Submit tissue block or at least 5 unstained 3–5 µm positively charged slides (minimum 2 slides). If sending precut slides, do not oven bake. Use tissue transport kit (#47808). Protect specimens from excessive heat. Ship in cooled container during summer months.
Limitations
Developed and performance-characterized by ARUP Laboratories, this test is a laboratory-developed test (LDT) and has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Performed in a CLIA-certified laboratory. Depleted or non‑representative tissue and frozen specimens are unacceptable. Frozen specimens are unacceptable.
