THC (Cannabinoids), Urine Screen with Reflex to Quantitation
Also known as: THC RFX U
Use
This test is useful for general screening in contexts of compliance and/or abuse. A screen with reflex testing allows for ruling out cannabinoid exposure. It does not distinguish between the delta-8 and delta-9 forms of THC or their metabolites. For follow-up testing of a presumptive result, THC Metabolite, Urine, Quantitative (0090369) is preferred.
Special Instructions
If the specimen screens positive, then Confirmation/Quantitation by LC-MS/MS (test code 0090369) is automatically added to confirm the result, and additional charges apply.
Limitations
The test does not differentiate between delta-8 and delta-9 THC forms or their metabolites. Presumptive negative results may indicate non-compliance, inappropriate timing of specimen collection relative to drug administration, poor drug absorption, diluted/adulterated urine, or limitations of testing. It is not valid for forensic use.
