The Invitae Primary Immunodeficiency Panel analyzes genes associated with inherited disorders of the immune system, including antibody deficiencies, autoinflammatory syndromes, innate immunity issues, immune dysregulation, and phagocytic defects. It provides a broad assessment of primary immunodeficiencies to offer a comprehensive evaluation for patients based on a single clinical indication.

Limitations
The assay might not detect all structural rearrangements or variants embedded in complex regions. Single-exon copy number events might not be analyzed due to sequence properties or data quality. Variants outside the defined sequencing regions, including promoter and some non-coding exons or regions, may not be detected. The analysis might not determine mosaicism, phasing, or mapping ambiguities.
