Beta-Amyloid 42/40 Ratio and Apolipoprotein E (APOE) Isoform Panel, CSF
Also known as: ABeta 42, ABeta 40, AB40, AB42, Alzheimer's Disease (AD)
Use
This panel of LC/MS/MS assays measures Beta‑Amyloid 42/40 Ratio and ApoE Isoform and Total ApoE in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The results are analyzed via an algorithm to calculate a risk assessment score, categorizing patients into low, intermediate, or high risk of having Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
