Iron, TIBC & Ferritin Panel
Use
This panel assesses iron metabolism by measuring blood iron levels, total iron‑binding capacity (TIBC), and ferritin. Iron is essential for hemoglobin production and oxygen transport, TIBC indicates iron transport capacity, and ferritin reflects iron storage. Abnormal levels may indicate iron deficiency, anemia, or iron overload conditions such as hemochromatosis and can guide clinical follow‑up and management.
