Sensory Neuropathy Complete Antibody Panel
Use
The Sensory Neuropathy Complete Antibody Panel aids in diagnosing autoimmune peripheral neuropathies by detecting antibodies associated with sensory neuropathy, including Hu, GD1b, GQ1b, MAG, SGPG, MPO, PR3, SS-A, and SS-B. It helps differentiate immune-mediated neuropathies and supports appropriate clinical management.
Special Instructions
Reflex testing applies: If MAG Antibody IgM, Western Blot, result is Positive, both MAG‑SGPG Antibody (IgM), EIA, and MAG Antibody (IgM), EIA, will be performed (additional charge, CPT codes: 83520 x2). If Hu Antibody, IFA, Serum is Positive, then Hu Antibody, Western Blot, Serum will be performed (CPT code: 84181), and if that is Positive, then Hu Antibody, Titer, Serum will be performed (CPT code: 86256). If Cryoglobulin Screen is Positive, then Cryoglobulin Reflex will be performed (CPT codes: 86334, 86329).
