Special Instructions
Draw baseline specimen before ACTH administration; administer 250 mcg Cortrosyn (cosyntropin) by rapid IV push; draw specimens at 30 and 60 minutes post‑administration; clearly mark collection times on all tubes. Cortrosyn not supplied by the laboratory.
