Crohn's Disease Prognostic Profile
Also known as: Glycominds, IBDX
Clinical Use
Order TestUse
Prognostic aid for use in the clinical management of patients who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
Special Instructions
None noted.
Limitations
The absence of antibody reactivity, while associated with an increased incidence of a more benign disease course, does not preclude the future development of more complicated disease or the need for surgery. The presence and increasing titer of antibodies have been correlated with more aggressive disease behavior.
