Measures immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies specific to walnut allergen (f256); if IgE level is ≥ 0.10 kU/L, automatically reflexes to Walnut Component Panel to identify specific component proteins rJug r1 and rJug r3 for more detailed allergen analysis.
Special Instructions
This is a true reflex test: if IgE for walnut (f256) meets or exceeds 0.10 kU/L, Walnut Component Panel will be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86008 (x2)).
