CD61 (Platelet Glycoprotein IIIA) by Immunohistochemistry
Use
CD61 by Immunohistochemistry is used to evaluate the presence of platelet glycoprotein IIIa in tissue samples. This can aid in the diagnosis of certain hematological disorders and is important for evaluating platelet-related pathologies within a biopsy. Specifically, the test detects the presence of CD61, which can help identify cells of megakaryocytic lineage and assess platelet production and related disorders.
