For the detection of antineuronal autoantibodies that help in the diagnosis of paraneoplastic syndromes and autoimmune encephalopathies and related conditions
Special Instructions
This test is developed and its performance characteristics are determined by Labcorp in accordance with CLIA requirements, but it has not been cleared or approved by the FDA.
Limitations
A negative result on this profile does not rule out all clinically relevant antibodies. If indicated, a phenotype-specific profile should be considered based on the clinical situation, such as encephalopathy, dementia, myelopathy, or axonal neuropathy.
