Use
This test provides qualitative detection of human IgG antibodies against Brucella abortus in human serum. This test can be used to aid in the diagnosis of brucellosis in conjuction with other laboratory and clinical findings.
Special Instructions
The test is used as an aid in diagnosis only and should be interpreted with clinical findings and other serological tests. Specimens must be free of bacterial contamination, hemolysis, and lipemia.
Limitations
A positive result should be interpreted alongside clinical findings and other serological tests. The test is intended as a diagnostic aid, and false positives may occur. Cross-reactivity with antibodies to other bacteria may cause false positive results.
