Turnaround time is typically between 1 and 2 days from specimen pickup to reporting. Ensure proper labeling and correct specimen type to avoid rejection.
Limitations
The test is limited to the detection of free hemoglobin in urine. Grossly bloody specimens, or those with color interference, may lead to inaccurate results. Improperly labeled or aged specimens beyond specified conditions may result in rejection.
