Limitations
The test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Labcorp, and it has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Additionally, the usual turnaround time is defined from the date of specimen pickup to when the result is released, with varying schedules and potential additional time required for confirmatory or reflex tests.
