Limitations
This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Labcorp. However, it has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which may limit its acceptance in some regulatory environments. The test is also reliant on the patient following specific instructions for proper sample collection and preservation. Incorrect or incomplete sample collection may lead to rejection of the sample.

Collection Instructions
Included preservative functions as a volume marker must be added to the main collection container at the beginning of collection and then return a 40 mL aliquot of the 24-hour urine per collection. Full 24-hour collection: Void and discard first urine and continue to collect for 24-hour period from that void time.
