Toxoplasma Antibody (IgM)
Use
Toxoplasma gondii specific IgM antibodies are typically detected within a few days of infection, peak within a few weeks, and usually fall to undetectable levels within a few months. However, in some patients, IgM may persist for more than a year. Therefore, detection of T. gondii IgM does not necessarily indicate recent or ongoing toxoplasmosis.
