Use
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is involved in the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Deficiency may lead to nonspecific clinical manifestations including mucocutaneous lesions of the mouth and skin, corneal vascularization, anemia, and personality changes.

Collection Instructions
Lavender (EDTA) tube. Protect from light. Centrifuge and aliquot 2 mL (Min: 0.5 mL) EDTA plasma into an amber standard transport tube (preferred); wrap in foil or amber if not available.
Patient Preparation
Overnight fasting required; avoidance of vitamin supplements for 24 hours prior to collection is preferred.
