B-cell Clonality Panel (IGH, IGK), PCR
Also known as: B-cell clonality panel (IGH.IGK), PCR, B-Cell Gene Rearrangement
Clinical Use
Order TestUse
This assay interrogates immunoglobulin heavy chain (IGH) and kappa light chain (IGK) gene rearrangements by PCR based on BIOMED‑2 consensus methodology. It is useful for establishing clonality of B‑cell lymphoid neoplasms, including identification of minimal residual disease or early recurrence, and detects clonal rearrangements in up to 99% of B‑cell malignancies compared to 80‑90% for IGH alone and 85‑90% for IGK alone.
