Dengue Fever Antibodies (IgG, IgM) and NS1 Antigen Panel
Use
This panel combines detection of NS1 antigen with IgM and IgG antibody testing to improve diagnostic sensitivity early in dengue infection. NS1 antigen appears as early as day 1 of symptoms and is reliable up to day 18, allowing accurate diagnosis in the acute febrile phase when antibodies may not yet be present. IgM indicates possible current or recent infection (within past 2–3 months), while IgG reflects previous exposure.([questdiagnostics.com](https://www.questdiagnostics.com/healthcare-professionals/clinical-education-center/faq/faq169?utm_source=openai))
