CD52 (CAMPATH-1) by Immunohistochemistry
Also known as: CD52 IHC
Use
The CD52 (CAMPATH-1) test by Immunohistochemistry is used for the detection and visualization of the CD52 antigen in tissue or cell samples. CD52 is a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of mature lymphocytes, monocytes, and some macrophages, making it useful for diagnosing and differentiating lymphoid neoplasms and certain other hematological conditions. This test helps in the assessment of immune-related pathologies and can assist in the identification of therapeutic targets for conditions such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
