Use
Confirm the diagnosis of chronic myelogenous leukemia; establish the chronic-phase karyotype for comparison with blast crisis alterations; monitor residual disease
Special Instructions
Include pertinent clinical diagnosis and previous cytogenetic studies on the test request form. Utilize sterile technique and Labcorp transport kits when possible.
Limitations
Molecular mutations or chromosomal alterations not targeted by the probe included in this profile will not be detected. This test is developed by Labcorp and has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
