Use
Determine if the potential donor and host have genetic differences that can be used to monitor the acceptance of a stem cell transplant
Special Instructions
To schedule this test, contact HLA customer service at 800-533-1037. The test includes analysis of genetic markers to distinguish between donor and host samples.
Limitations
This test cannot distinguish between samples from identical (monozygotic) twins, as they have identical alleles. If determining twin zygosity (monozygotic versus dizygotic) is necessary, contact HLA customer service at 800-533-1037.
