Use
High resolution HLA typing is preferred for matching of bone marrow transplant donors and recipients. Other clinical indications may require high resolution typing to rule out alternative allele combinations.

Limitations
This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Labcorp. It has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Results should be interpreted within the context of the clinical presentation and are subject to the limitations of the sequencing technology used.
