Detect and identify monoclonal immunoglobulin gammopathies
Special Instructions
It is important to state the patient's age and clinical diagnosis on the test request form for accurate test processing and results.
Limitations
This test may not adequately identify all types of monoclonal gammopathies and is limited by the quality and storage conditions of the serum sample used. Plasma samples are unacceptable and will lead to test rejection. Repeat testing may not be possible with the minimum volume provided.
