Use

This test measures the level of immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies in patient serum in response to perennial rye grass (G5). It is used to help assess allergic sensitization to this specific grass pollen. A positive result indicates an immune response consistent with possible allergic reactivity but must be interpreted in the context of clinical history and other diagnostic information.
