Respiratory Allergy Profile Region XIV: CA, central valley
Also known as: ImmunoCAP®
Use
This regional respiratory allergy profile—designed specifically for California’s Central Valley (Region XIV)—uses ImmunoCAP IgE blood testing to evaluate a patient's sensitization to a panel of the most prevalent environmental respiratory allergens in that geographic area. It aids clinicians in identifying likely allergy triggers such as molds, grasses, trees, weeds, and common indoor allergens to inform more accurate diagnosis and management decisions. Immunoglobulin E measurement also provides an indicator of overall atopic (allergic) status.
Special Instructions
Submission requirements specify 5 mL of serum preferred and a minimum of 2.5 mL. Testing is performed using a fluoroenzyme immunoassay (ImmunoCAP Specific IgE) methodology.
