Anti-Soluble Liver Ag Ab (RDL)
Also known as: Anti-SLA Ab, SLA
Use
Anti-SLA antibodies aid in the diagnosis of conditions with elevated levels of SLA antibody including autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), type 2. AIH patients are generally divided into 2 groups based on the presence of specific autoantibodies. AIH type 1 (also referred to as classic, active chronic, lupoid, plasma cell, or autoimmune chronic active hepatitis) is the more common type of AIH.
