Use
Evaluate bacterial or viral encephalitis, meningitis, meningoencephalitis, mycobacterial or fungal infection, primary or secondary malignancy, leukemia/malignant lymphoma of CNS, trauma, vascular occlusive disease, heredofamilial, and/or degenerative processes
Special Instructions
Transport the specimen to the laboratory as soon as possible after collection to ensure the accuracy of the results.
Limitations
Improper labeling, insufficient quantity, frozen specimens, or specimens more than 24 hours old can lead to rejection. Results might be affected by specimen handling or transport delays, potentially leading to inaccurate cell counts or differential results.
