Special Instructions
Trough levels should be collected as they are most reproducible for this test. Once separated, serum or plasma must be transferred to a plastic transport tube for submission. Use of gel barrier tubes is not recommended.
Limitations
This test and its performance characteristics were developed by Labcorp and it is not FDA cleared or approved. The test might require additional confirmatory or reflex testing for certain results, potentially extending the turnaround time. The test results should be interpreted in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory findings and not used as the sole basis for treatment decisions.
